Job: Customer Services Representative (part time)
Department: Customer Services
Site: Doncaster

Can you tell us what you do at BRIDON International Ltd.?

My main responsibilities as a Customer Services Representative are processing orders that are sent in by customers by fax or e-mail, doing any quotes they require. I also answer any enquiries that our customers have such as stock availability, lead time , status of orders and if they can bring orders forward or put them back.

What made you want to work for BRIDON, how long have you worked for the Company, and how did you start?

BRIDON has been a well-respected company in Doncaster for as long as I can remember which is something I wanted to be a part of. I wanted more than just a job, I wanted to come to work every day and face a new challenge and BRIDON is the perfect place for that. I have worked for BRIDON for 3 years now; I had a friend who already worked for BRIDON and let me know when there was a vacancy. I started full time in the Customer Service Department and following the birth of my daughter I came back to work part-time working 2 ½ days a week. This is perfect as it allows me to work and do what I enjoy but it also gives me quality time with my daughter.

What do you enjoy most about working at BRIDON, and about your job in particular?

I enjoy working at BRIDON because it is a good company to work for and my colleagues make it a fun place to work, we work closely as a team to give each other support. I particularly enjoy my job as there is always great variety of things to do and every day is different – you never know what to expect each morning, each day is a challenge.

What would you say to a potential future employee about BRIDON and the development opportunities available for people wanting to aspire to a similar position as yourself?

To any potential employee I would say that BRIDON is a good company to work for and is constantly improving. It is working towards improving procedures all the time to make things more efficient. We all work closely as a team and independently as well. As a company BRIDON is always open to new suggestions and everyone is always encouraged to ask questions.
